Happy July!
This month, the optional theme that authors may be writing about is “Nomination for the 25th Strength.” (Authors will write about this theme or anything else they like). There are 24 strengths in the Values-in-Action (VIA) strengths survey (take the survey here or here). In MAPP at the University of Pennsylvania, one of the assignments in Christopher Peterson’s course is to propose the 25th strength: “What if you were to nominate a new strength?”
This month is dedicated to exploring the 25th strength, and writing up the research associated with that strength. Which strength would you like to see nominated? Please add your comments here.
In the past, authors have highlighted these candidates for the 25th strength:
- Patience by Dana Arakawa
- Self-Awareness by Aren Cohen
- Balance by Debbie Swick
- Mindfulness by Suzann Pileggi
- Peace by Nicholas Hall
We will also be posting the reviews of the IPPA conference this month, in addition to one already posted by Derrick Carpenter.
Please enjoy!
